We took the old 1440 square foot milking parlor, ripped out the milking stalls, filled the troughs with sand and put a plywood floor over it. Next we cleaned out the cobwebs, added some more windows, installed a LP double garage heater and a on demand water heater. A TV antenna was added so that we could view the local stations. We also put in a wood stove as a backup to the LP heater.  With the addition of 2 window air conditioners and some fans, it stays cool in the summer.  We found out that the building had been insulated and so we can be quite warm in the studio, even during some of our cold Minnesota winter days.
